The usual Suspects like CASSEL, ELIE and HAKEEM come to mind
but I was wonder what other Former Rockets you think could
contribute to this team in a coaching capacity ?

Whether as a Head Coach or an Assistant

I think Murphy needs to teach Free Throws and STOP AND POP
Horry seems like he would be a Good Locker Room Coach - a Player's Coach
I think he would help alot motivating players

Do we need MR MEAN back to teach these boys how to Rebound?

Battier would be a hell of a coach.

Shane Battier for sure. Not only does he understand the Xs and Os, but he can really instill the professional values it takes to be successful in this league into our young guys.

Didn't he say he was going to take a few years off and then possibly look into coaching? I might have made that up, but I thought I remembered him responding to an interview question about his future after retirement.

Sam Cassell would probably be an asset as well. Mario Ellie coached under Pop for a few seasons right? He had to of learned a lot there -- bring him too!
