C Dwight Howard: 1. He should definately work on his free throws even though he shot ok in game 5, he needs to work on it in game like scenarios run a mile and shoot 50 freethrows to simulate the fatigue at the line. And shoot with loud noise. 2. Dwight should really think about doing some Yoga. He is so stiff in the paint area he needs to really needs to become more flexible, this will make his post game so much easier to him. He really needs to look at Kareems post game, Hakeems post gar and really work on this.
C Capella needs to keep working hard to crack rotation again next season we seen big improvements for this guy. He should play summer league and keep being active get in the weight room with Dorsey and Dwight and just get big and gain 20 lbs he can make a big impact next season. Also he should work on his midrange game and free throws
C- rockets should also add another C in free agency or draft
PF Terrence Jones: He should keep doing what he is doing. Keep getting stronger, more athletic, keep working on midrange and keep working on physicallity. He just needs to work on being consistent.
Donatas Motiejunas: this dude needs to just get healthy and work on his back he was great this season. We missed him alot in post season, we could have used him against the warriors. He needs to rest and get back to 100% and get stronger in the post work on defense on bigger PFS.
SF Trevor Ariza: he needs to keep working on 3 and D i want him to he automatic next season. He needs to work on ball handling because he will handle the ball good amount and good ball spacing. Overall he has a good heart and he is one of my faves on this squad
Corey Brewer: he is the greyhound i love his defensive tenacity, he needs to work on free throws and overall IQ in the game he can go 100mph but he needs to make smarter plays. Overall keep up the intensity!!
Josh Smith: he needs to step up consistently and become the 3rd star on our team. Work on his basketball IQ and make smart plays consistently he got better at 3 pointers as season went on but made TERRIBLE plays on transition. He needs to keep up his defensive intensity all game long and not hit transition 3s he needs to use his strength and dunk those more often.
SG James Harden... We love you but you need to work on conditioning, you cant be resting om defensive end. Need to play like kobe on defensive end. You need to play consistent defense. Cant give up. You need to work on midrange game and overall IQ in late game situations. Perhaps reach out to Kobe and ask him if he can work out with you all summer. Maybe you should also work with hakeem and work on post game. BUT REMEMBER WORK WITH KOBE. You are so simmilar to him. Look up to him watch his game tape. Talk to Tmac, learn from tmac, drexler. I dont think Jordan is willing to help anyone. But kobe, ray allen tmac. You must learn alot from them. Learn to make smart plays cut turnovers and play consistently.
Nick Johnson- keep working on your game bro, you will definatley be in rotation next season. We need that defense
Kostas Papanikolou- hope you stay healthy keep playin ur game. Out work everyone you will crack postseason roster soon!!
PG patrick beverly work on desicion making skills!! We need you to rest throughout next season and help us through our run. We need that defensive intensity we missed it so much in playoffs. Keep being you. Hope we match ur contract offers and keep working on that mid range jumper. And almost automatic 3s from corner
Jason Terry- hopefully you re-sign and come back we need you to be you and be more of a coach next season. Your role should be smaller next season hopefully u can be a great sparkplug next season.
Pablo prigioni- you are 40 and i have no clue if you will come back you can teach alot to a young point guard if we get one in the offseason. You should also act as a coach on the floor.
PG rockets should get a young dynamic and athletic pg with great slashing and 3 point ability and good desicion making

He's been in the league for 11 years now.

Yes, keep doing what you're doing! Morey will ship your ass out in no time!

Another guy who has been in the league 10 years. Suddenly improve his ball handling? No, he will not be handling the ball "a good amount". He's exactly what you said, threes and defense.

He's been in the league 10 YEARS! Be consistent, play smart, 3rd star? HAHAHAHA... I wonder why Detroit & Atlanta didn't think of this!

    Solid.

Besides work on the obvious, work on "Court Chemistry"!!!!!

IMO,This is where loosing Parsons hurtled the Rockets the most. His playmaking ability and his friendship with both Howard and Harden could have helped tremendously in the playoffs. He helped them jell even if they had differences last year. This year we had nobody besides Harden to create offense nor anyone to help Harden and Howard coexist. Both harden and howard are divas in their own way and parsons helped those two out stroke and keep those divas in check.

Edit last sentence...accidentally pressed posted quick reply button
    Should have read....

Both Harden and Howard are divas in their own way and Parsons helped those two out by stroking their ego and by keeping those divas in check and concentrating in playing.

forget the vets. they are who they are.

the young guys we can ask to add something.

capela - add strength/weight, and FT shooting. he's already solid on defense and rebounding. the strength will help there too, but the FT shooting will make him a dangerous finisher.

dmo - strength/weight, and 3pt shooting. ideally he'd become a better rebounder/shot blocker, but guys don't become more athletic. he is who he is in those areas. he is already a great post player, passer, and ball handler... he's a decent Ft shooter... but maybe adding strength will help in boxing out, if that's not enough to help him become a better rebounder, at least it will help him become a beast in the post. the 3 point shooting would make him a complete offensive player, capable of scoring 17-20ppg.

NJ - if he becomes a consistent 3 point shooter he would replace beverley as the 3&D PG.

harden - all mental at this point. he needs to spend the summer talking with hakeem and calvin, maybe reach out to champions like kobe, duncan, manu, parker, lebron, wade, jordan, shaq, you get the idea.

TJ - giving up on this one. hasn't improved his game yet. always been a good rebounder, finisher, and shot blocker. always been bad at positional defense and post offense.

KJ - probably gets overpaid somewhere else. but if he's here, then 3 point shooting. he's already a beast of an athlete who can become a great defender.

papa - trade bait. won't be back. but again, if he's here, 3 point shooting. he is already a good rebounder, ball handler, and passer for his size. he's a decent enough defender and shooter... but we need the shooting more.

If you are under 6'9, work on your 3pt shot.

If you are over 6'9, WORK ON YOUR FREE THROWS DAMMIT.

I don't think their on-court chemistry had anything to do with Parsons. I think having Jet and Trevor actually helped the team, even when they were going through adversity. At least that is what the players have mentioned quite a bit this year.

Chemistry develops with playing together for many many games and what some seem to forget is, that the squad that played this playoff run hasn't had all that much time together.

During the season Howard missed half the season, then came backs shortly before the playoffs on a minute restriction. Jones missed more than half the season and DMO was playing great. Then Jones comes back and DMO goes out. Same with Bev, had some injuries throughout the year and shortly before the playoffs he is ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The team needed to adjust to this new lineup on the fly. They had a great playoff run, just lost to a better and deeper team, who have been together for a long time now. I think the chemistry will be just fine if they can stay healthy and play together for an extended period of time. That players will have to improve on their weaknesses (and that this team will need to make some offseason changes) goes without saying really.
