What does it take to become a "contributing member" ?

I was a viewer
Then I created an account and became a Member
Then i donated and became a Contributing Member
Then i got bannned
I created a temporary account ( which we're not sopposed to do)
After more than a year, my normal account was re-nabled, but as Member (not Contributing)

I donated to become a contributing member on the old forum setup so I could search post.

I donated but didn't get my account upgraded to contributing member, so I emailed Clutch asking him If I could get the contributing status, instead he refunded my donation lol.

When do I get upgraded

There's not a minimum amount, but I don't think Clutch is upgrading people anymore. Some people have been waiting years. It may be he just doesn't check the requests often. Me and member #1 are bros on Facebook so I could ask him for you, but I can't bother him with such trivial matters.

 

That should do it, although more is always appreciated. For members who contribute and Clutch hasn't gotten around to changing your status, send him an e-mail with a polite reminder. He's an extremely busy guy.

As for the Styx Forum, wasn't a requirement added that limited access, besides needing to be a contributing member, to members that have a join date no later than December 31, 2002? I could be wrong about that. R2K unofficially runs it, so perhaps he makes exceptions from time to time. The discussions can be epic. If we were all in a room, there would probably be fist fights over who was the best guitar player ever - after Jimi. There's no argument about the best, but plenty about second best. Secrecy is paramount. I've already said too much!

Yeah I wouldnt be so bold as to request you to bother #1 on fb. Especially since I havent donated. I Was just kind of wondering about the process before the season starts.

5) If so, then clutch should refund your mom and revoke your contributing member status.
