If anyone's interested, this is a link to a pic of my tat. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h156/bbacke41/Misc/204425.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h156/bbacke41/Misc/204504.jpg
I wonder if the "tat" artist can do this one: Seriously speaking, though. I love my team so much, but not enough to mark my body up like that. I really admire you for being a big fan, but I don't know about getting tattoo's... I just would NEVER do that. Anyway, I still admire anyone who's a fan of DREAM. Sorry about that soapbox thing... how did we get on TATTOO's?
We got on the subject of tattoos because of my original post. I talked about getting this one. It's truly not for everybody. This tattoo symbolizes the bond the Astros created between my Grandma and me.
Gladding! Freddy Flinstone was a pretty good reliever, but he was beyond a doubt the worst hitter I've ever seen in my life. I once saw him get two quick strikes at the plate, then foul off about a half dozen pitches in a row. The Astrodome crowd went nuts -- you'd think this was Kirk Gibson's walk-off homer. Then the inevitable third strike came, and Freddy got a standing ovation for his near-hit. A very special Astros moment.
