What are your home AC temps?

    I'm having an issue with a roommate about AC temperatures.

    I'm curious to know what's the average temperature of your place when you wake up, are away, when you're at home during the day and/or evening and when you go to bed.

    Also state if you have a house, apartment, etc.

    One bedroom apartment. 78 during normal hours, 82 when away, 76 when I go to bed.

    During the summer

    76 when I'm not home, 74 when I'm home, 72 when I go to bed

    Spring, Fall, and Winter take 4 degrees off Summer temps

    77 when I'm home during the day, 80 when I'm away, 73 when I'm sleeping.

    Have you ever been to Indian peoples' houses?

    It's 85 degrees inside with fans set up to blow on high. Maybe others do it too, but I've been to many Indians' homes and found this to be the case

    79 during the day, 74 during the night. The master bedroom doesn't cool as well as the rest of the house, otherwise we would leave it at 79 all the time.

    And, obviously... house.

    That is a really big variance and may actually make it harder for you to get the temp you want.
