He basically rested and came back fully healthy played half a season and the playoffs
    He was himself he dominated

The reason why they lost is that Shaq and Orlando’s interior destroyed the Bulls
Which is why the next year they got Dennis Rodman
    And changed their role players

Dream in 1995 destroyed people like he was Drogon

Nobody in the history of basketball could stop 1995 playoff Dream
He dominated the offense and defense like he was immortal

Anyone who has a different opinion of this is not a rockets fan

No one made offers besides Pelicans. Should he have gone around the league begging every other team to sign him?

It was an opportunity to gamble on a quality player but we didnt explore it cos we had faith in Capela and Nene.

he sure went to GS and begged.

hes coming off a torn achilles. he wanted max money. thats his fault everyone else is smart enough to not give him max. and its still smart by the rest of the league.

GS is not 'every other team' cos he joining them is like signing for $5.3m+ring

You say he wanted max, but how much did this other teams offer him that he turned down? He simply didnt get any offers - max or otherwise.

they're not every other team bc theyre the easy road to a ship.

stop assuming. do your research, he got offers. stop it with this cousins is a victim logic. he went to GS bc he had the mentality of ok no one wants to give me max, ill just go to GS and f u to everyone else. he still wont get max now and its pretty clear he has realized he wont ever

Since you have done your research, then please state those offers besides pelicans?

and yes GS are an easy road to rings and why signing with them for cheap is better than signing for any another team for cheap.

Still, the question is not about why Cousins picked GS (that is obvious) but why were Rockets (if they truly wanted to overcome GS) didnt even show any interest? Instead we were experimenting with Melo.

Cousins never turned down an offer from the Rockets cos Rockets didnt even show any interest.

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported that some teams had a "No Cousins" policy before the injury. According to Lowe, Cousins' offers may have been for an annual salary for the mid-level exception — $8.6 million — for multiple years. Lowe reported Cousins' camp was shopping one-year, $15 million offers to teams but didn't have takers. He instead signed a one-year, $5.7 million contract with the Golden State Warriors

Again, he was looking for max or as close to max money as possible. obviously, they weren't close to what he was seeking. so then he went to gs begging.

you're still wondering why cousins wasn't shown interest. with what money first of all? you expect cousins to sign for min. seriously, use some common sense. this revisionist/why this/why that history is just plain dumb. do your research ffs

That quote misrepresents the facts of the Lowe article.

From the actual article (http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23979341/zach-lowe-demarcus-cousins-golden-state-warriors-nba). :

A number of teams had a No Cousins policy before he tore his Achilles. That number grew as teams feared committing to what might be a less explosive version of him.

Portland and New Orleans had very preliminary talks about a sign-and-trade, sources say, but Portland's salary target is murky and it might have pushed for at least one nonguaranteed year. As ESPN's Chris Haynes reported, the deal never got off the ground -- in part because Cousins and Jusuf Nurkic, Portland's incumbent free-agent center, share an agent.

By the middle of Monday, Cousins' people were calling teams and pitching deals: one-year, $15 million in one place, per sources, other numbers in other places. Clearly, there was not much interest. It might be that the richest deal easily and quickly available to him was that full midlevel exception contract starting at around $8.6 million. Any team offering that -- and I'm not sure as of this writing that one did -- might have sensed its leverage and tried to coax Cousins into a two-year deal at that price. For many of them, that was the smart play. Cousins would have justifiably resisted. Others are hoarding cap space for the summer of 2019 and so would have restricted their offers to one season.

So there is still no evidence that any other team besides Pelicans made an offer for Cousin's that he turned down.

But again, the real question is why did the rockets not pursue him? Given the outcome of the WCF, we had almost as much championship credibility to offer as GS

its not really a real question. if you think pursuing cousins who came off an achilles tear for the rockets who didn't play up until 2019 was some priority you've got some issues. im done with this. ive spent way too much time on something i could give two ***** about. and quite frankly, most of it is common sense

If you think not even pursuing a 28yr old, 4x All-star center for the mid-level is common sense, then getting bounced by GSW should also be common sense to you.

Ironically we are paying a perennially injured and washed up CP3 $40m a year.

BTW who did we spend our midlevel exception on?
