Yup. I'm not sure why people downgrade the championships Mark Jackson won while he was Golden State coach with the greatest shooters, but seem to care about Kerr winning titles. It's really weird and dumb.

Totally agree. OKC hired him 3 years too late.

Maybe another training camp and 82 more games can flush the heroball out of their system. We saw how good the Thunder could be but when the going got tough, KD & WB reverted to their career-long comfort zone.

Donovan is struggling with Blattititis, not getting in your star players faces and holding them accountable, he always only praises them and just tries to say the right things to build a better relationship with them turning a blind eye.
They need to pick up a korver! These defensive lineups with no shooters are terrible.

As a UF alum, I can say I was happy with donovan. However, many people were not. He won the title with an NBA team. He had 2/5 best players in the NBA this year. Story checks out.

Maybe this offseason flushes one of the heroes out of their system. :)

Btw, everyone please rep the guru, Kwame. In a land of idiots, he knows his stuff. I dont have time now, but get in your apologies before I post his call about the warriors losing a game and the winning the next 3.

Seattle Reporter Chris Crabtree reports on Thunder loss by showing photo of car wreck that killed Thunder owner Aubrey McClen

Durant and Westbrook need to undergo a personality transplant if either is ever going to live up to his potential.

Donovan may have done a good job but:

    - Brooks never had the full team healty in the playoffs

    - the Thunder were never as talented and deep as they are now

So yeah, he did a good job in his first season, but i'm not sure this can be considered a better job than what Brooks did...in regular season they've been just ok, not better than the Thunder of past years, same ugly basketball and in fact probably worse defensively as a team. They kinda elevated their game against the (old and Duncanless -> which is huge) Spurs and Warriors which is good, but they did that also cause they have more ballers than one/two years ago, and most important no injuries finally.

I always liked Kwame. Solid poster.

BTW, I am ready to eat my serving of crow. After being destroyed in games 3 and 4, and being down 1-3 in the series, I thought the GSW were done. I guess they are a historical team for a reason. Props to that team for getting the job done and to those posters who said the Warriors still had a chance.
