yall do more complaining on this site than any other site I've been on Westbrook is clearly way better than cp3 **** he plays for the thunder now let it go and appreciate what russ brings to this team
AMEN!! tired of hearing all these shittalkers on Westbrook...they can't even give props when he's playing well! whats the point of being a fan. he's on our team now, so we need to get his back. its like they want him(us) to fail. ????
The real question is how much can they figure out about playing together and end of game situations between now and April/May/June. There are going to be times where Russ needs to make a key play and/or take over a game/half/quarter/possession. Can they, collectively, figure out how to do that? It took the Heatles a year to figure it out and it gave Dallas and Dirk a title.
I like how they traded CP3 for Westbrook because they wanted a point guard who was more consistently available, yet they sit Westbrook every back to back, something they never did with Chris Paul.
It's almost like...........they should have managed his workload as an older player! PJ Tucker is who they must do that with now, but it appears they are intent to run him into the ground too.
there's no way they can do it to PJ. Who's gonna take his minutes and be productive? Thabo lmao. same could be said for cp3. Who was gonna take his minutes and be productive? MCW lmao the lack of depth has always been a huge problem
The reality is...PJ Tucker hasn't been terribly productive lately. Obviously still great defensively, but he's been a zero on offense for a while now, and they're going to burn him out by March playing these kinds of minutes. Depth could have been had if they did not penny pinch. Morey did the best he could under limited circumstances.
except he got injured during the 1st game of the 17-18 season, and the Rockets got off to such a bad start last season and put themselves in position to where they had to play catch up Russ is coming off surgery so I have no problem with him missing a game every B2B...he can do that the rest of the season and still be available a lot more than Paul was
I totally get that. I think it makes a lot of sense. My thing is...if you're going to load manage, do it with all your vets. Don't sacrifice wins while *also* running guys like Harden and Tucker into the ground.
we're already seeing EG wanting to scrap the back to back sit out immediately and he just barely came back from knee surgery.
I doubt Harden ever agrees to load management they can load manage Russ because at least there’s still EG and Rivers in the backcourt along with Harden the frontcourt depth is ridiculously thin...PJ’s workload won’t decrease unless there’s a trade to bring in reinforcements or a buyout miracle
When Russ sits Harden is averaging like 38 minutes and a million shots. We have the luxury of having Rivers and Gordon as bench guards, not many teams have depth that good at the guard position. MDA needs to get them producing more in these rest games so it’s not all on Harden.
