It does seem like a very odd shirt choice considering who they were playing against

You know it makes me wonder...if Gordon and Anderson make your team so great that you now have all this help...I wonder what would happen if you teamed them up with let's say... Anthony Davis? Surely Anthony Davis/Gordon/Anderson would be unstoppable?

Perhaps tonight is a better example of what I was talking about? Harden has had multiple playoff games like this over his career where he just seems disinterested. It fades when the moment fades, but the complaints about him today are the same as were made in those previous games.

Again, that's not going to change whether players will come play with him. My only point is that people will chase the money, whether it's Houston or OKC or elsewhere. That said, as someone else mentioned, max players are more interesting since the money is the same. I'm not sure who max players would most like to play with.

    Why would he quit?

He could barely walk to the presser after game 5. More likely explanation he was gassed?
Get a 2nd star and he has more energy late in a series?

"You’re playing basketball for a living, OK? I understand, if you work in a coal mine, that you may need a rest day. You’re playing basketball. The joy that comes with competing in basketball — it’s fun to play. I never got tired in a game. How can you get tired in a game? You’re playing basketball. I don’t understand this."

Does he really do more for his team than Lebron? Or key two-way players like Leonard? Or guys like Isaiah Thomas who carries the load in Boston?

I can understand the argument if was at ends of games and he was playing extra minutes or something, though Westbrook was never given that benefit of the doubt in that exact scenario in this discussion. But to suddenly be tired at the start of game 6 of a playoff series seems pretty random and more iike a convenient excuse. Harden wasn't even half way through the playoffs. How exactly do all these other players like Lebron make it through an entire playoff run through an NBA Finals?

i just lost my respect for this guy forever, this guy is the epitome of stat padding, what point guard would have grabbed 20 rebounds and only scored 6 points in a game, this is stat padding at its finest, if this guys goes to the hall of fame, they better close the hall of fame for good

Oof. Is that a phrase commonly used in the South today?
