Didn't look good at all. Looked very similar to Kobes with it being a no contact injury. The pick up of Afflalo becomes huge if the news on Matthews injury is season ending. I feel bad for the guy and sucks for the Blazers. Having been through the Yao/Mcgrady era my sympathy level isn't as high as before.

i remember saying how lucky the blazers were with health last year, and that it would not happen this year most likely.

it looks like those people were right.

Wasn't Matthews their iron man? I mean, the entire team has been pretty durable the last two years (except for LMA a bit, this year), but Matthews never missed a game, iirc.

This is a HUGE injury for Portland. Their glue guy, 3 & D guy. He always played Harden tough. Now that Afflalo deal looks genious! He will help, but isnt Wes. Big, big loss for Portland.

I respect his defensive skills and he is pretty good on offense too. It's too bad that he is out for the rest of the season.
Hope he will be able to be healthy next year.

Dude can flat out shoot. Feel bad for the guy. :(

He was wearing Kobe 9 high tops and the back design was sutures…..kinda ironic…

As much as I dislike Portland and Matthews after last season's playoffs, you never want to see any player get injured.

They are lucky they got Afflalo, he will step into that role nicely, but this is still a huge loss for them.

They are now the team to play in the playoffs.
I can't imagine Afflalo filling that role.
