Because he didn't play in the 2nd half :)

You had your starting 5 back. You had Yao, Scola, Battier, McGrady, Alston. You had your 2nd unit, Artest, Brooks, Landry, Wafer. Scola running away on defense like a jack rabbit.

"Yeah thats some real fancy players ya got there Mr. Adelman. I don't know what those other teams are gonna do with 'em though. Might eat 'em. I seen 'em eat a rockin' chair once..."

    I love Chuck...

    But...

Could he have made some shots for us?

the problem was offense in the last 6 minutes of the game....doubt chuck wouldve done much

plus he missed a free throw which wouldve made a huge difference on yaos three point play

No, he would have just made the 76ers actually miss some shots and probably grab a few key rebounds like the offensive ones that Dalembert and that other guy kept getting :)

Dude, Chuck even made a FT tonight....

But he would have been worthless out there.

And like I said in my original post, you had all the players you wanted. You had your man Luis Scola, but he decided to take the 4th quarter off after he scored more than his average through the first 3. A trick he learned from Tracy McGrady :)

He hadn't played all game. Me personally? I would have subbed in Chuck Hayes when I saw the lead slipping away late in the 3rd. The 76ers gained all kinds of momentum in the 3rd.

The last play of the game should of been drawn up for Chuck.

Nope. You can't blame Barry. Or Head. Or Dorsey. Hayes shares in the blame ....

Very funny, but somehow, I don't think it could have been much worse than having McGrady dribble the clock out and take a 3 with his defender draped all over him...

The end result would have been the same :)

No it wouldn't because the other team would have intentionally fouled him and we would have at least gotten some high comedy out of the guy.

LOL - he needed a lane violation to get that third attempt to do it though.
