Is it just me or does anyone else have that feeling that this team wants the Warriors in the 1st round? It feels like everyone is just coasting and just watching the standings to make sure they get that 8th seed.

I know we lost 4-1, but we could have easily won two more games in that series. And if you add PatBev and DMo and a legit 6th man in Beasley......I think I like our chances.

    I don't know am I reaching :confused::confused::confused:

to say we have a chance (no matter how slim it is) is very different from "i like our chances".

we're talking about a historically great team here.

I think we'll do better against the Warriors than against the Spurs. The Spurs defense is just too good. There's a bigger chance that Curry/Thompson have an off-night than the Spurs playing bad defense

I agree,,,would be kinda fun to face a possible record-winning team for the spotlight.

But, consider this for a second:

    We draw OKC
    We beat OKC
    Durant gets mad at OKC
    Durant signs with the winner

is it possible we get to the 5th?

wouldnt it be fun if we face the clips in the 1st AND BEAT THEM AGAIN, and then play the gsw?

I think the Rockets should feel good about there OKC and Atlanta games.

Have a long way to go but they are improving.

They need to get the 6th seed.

Eh, rather see the Nuggets and Jazz over Mavs and Rockets.

Nuggets are unpredictable enough to get a couple games over the dubs.

Consider that sure we got better, but they did too. They have a whole nother year of playing together at a record breaking rate... What do we have? Beasley, Bev and Dmo? Why are we sub .500? Come on now.

If this team is deliberately tanking for the 8th seed to get swept 4-0 by the Warriors in four straight blowouts then I want everyone on this roster gone.

GSW may get 75 wins or whatever, but the ugly truth that no one seems to want to acknowledge is that they've never had to face the X Factor in a playoff series. You may be on to something OP.

The absolute LAST thing I want the Rockets to have is the #8 seed and play GSW. Who wants to get punched in the face for 4 games and watch GSW yuck it up? Makes me angry just thinking about it.

Would rather have 6 or 7 or just 9 and out of the playoffs to keep the 1st round pick.

IF that's what this team is doing, and IF we do beat the warriors and IF we end up winning the championship...then this might be the greatest team of all time

It's like that one thing where if you want to purposely fail and get a 0 then you have to know everything so you don't make the mistake of getting the right answer. lol. The person who gets the 0 is actually just as smart as the one who got a 100
