This kid is only 21 taken in thr 5th round and has outplayed every other rookie qb thus far in the preseason. His freshman year at ucla their was talk of Hundley being the a top 5 selection when he became eligbible his junior year, but just like bridgewater his flaws started to get pointed out over time by nfl scouts, from his mechanics, to the offense he was running.

But it looks from the preseason Mike McCarthy has cleaned all that up.. kid looks like a stud

    check out his preseason numbers

    47-65, 69%, 551 yards, 8.47 YPA, 7 TDs 1 INT, 124 passer rating

he is by far better than jimmy g, in fact when they played againist each other in the preseason hundley looked like the superior player, and tonight hundley just outplayed 3rd rounder garrett grayson

Even though preseason I think he will be a decent qb in a couple of years. Good size, smart, arm strength, and accurate.

I was high on him coming into the draft. Thought he'd be a steal.

Haven't really watched him this year, but he got crafted into the perfect spot.

Ryan Mallett has experienced backing up a world class QB.

Texans should have just drafted him. He will be better than any QB we have now by midseason.

Hundley looks good. Competent, solid backup for A-Rod finally. Should learn a lot from him as well. Dude has some nice mobility so far, kinda has some Russ Wilson in him.

Wasn't too high on him coming out, but still thought he dropped further than he should have. Don't think Pack will trade him unless some QB-needy team offers an overpriced package. He should overtake Tolzien's spot.

The knock against him is he holds onto the ball for too long. That wouldn't be a good fit behind this oline.

That's true, but also where his great mobility may help him make up for it. Really like what McCarthy/Packers have done to refine his game

Don't ignore Savage's pre-season; 42/64 475 yards 4 TD's 1 INT. He's been a real Macho Man. But Savage has clearly progressed a ton from last season. It sucks the bubble offensive line guys failed him giving up 6 sacks. Jaelen Strong also dropped a huge pass.

I think he is the best QB on this team and right now he's entering a AAA level of the NFL.

He definately understands what's going tremendously better and he hasn't lost the confidence and aggressiveness that he has always had. I really think this pick looks much better and I liked it at the time.

You can search my post history; I've been on the Hundley bandwagon since he was in college.

That said, this won't happen. Packers have no reason to do it.

Y'all found your new Kirk Cousins, ey, congrats. Talk about oline or safety or something for once. There are like 90 QBs in the league and all but a handful suck, deal with it.
