Harden probably got concussed last night . PJ is working through an ankle injury Clint looks a step slow Eric has been dealing with a knee Why not give knight 20+ minutes to try and break some rust off Why not give another shot to MCW to step up and be depth ? He did look good in the preseason and maybe making that last 3 ... he has gained some confidence . Why not use Gary Clark who was counted on for key minutes and delivered earlier in the season ? He's had time to adjust to the NBA a bit ... maybe his legs are back I'm not saying James , Gordon , Clint , and PJ should all sit . But at the very least we should try to get them a breather . If you can't deal BK and a first for a guy that can play ... or use MCW in a deal ... you might as well play them . We need healthy bodies to soak up minutes and we need them NOW ! I have been critical of MDA for playing a short rotation for a long time ... some people here say it's the roster ... maybe it's both .... but when you are in a situation like this you HAVE to spread the minutes around using the players you have !
you want to tank for 1 game? hell NO, this is CF and we don't like tanking around these parts. We want to play for that 9th seed and try to get our superstar injured.
The irony is that we are playing vs the spurs .... and a coach that managed to keep old players healthy and winning.
