he is our most efficient scorer and his post game has come along. He needs at least 15-20 shots per game, especially when he is playing against a 6'6 midget lol

Clint is fine the way he is. We don't want Clint to turn in to a Dwight

Rockets are using Clint just about perfectly now

If by get him the ball you mean throw him lobs, and passes that lead to an easy layup/dunk, then I agree.

If you mean post him up? Please no.

clint is not a go-to guy on offense and the rockets aren't a post up team.

i agree with getting clint the ball as much as possible *within the flow of the offense* he's a PnR finisher, a rim runner, and a put-back scorer. if he manages to score 13-15ppg this series, we will be in good shape.

more important is his defensive rebounding contributions. if he can make them pay for going small by holding them to 1-and-done AND play good D when switched onto a perimeter player... we will win the series. and it will be because of him! no other team has a center that can do both of those jobs on defense. that's what makes the warriors so tough. they go small and force the centers to guard the perimeter, then they attack the rim... most teams take out their center to matchup with the warriors, which plays right into their hands... we don't have to. we can have all 5 guys able to guard the perimeter AND keep our rim protector in.

clint will be the x-factor because of defense, not offense.

I’d have Capela focus on blocking shots, especially Green’s shots. Get in Green’s head and then he gets frustrated- later he tries get “and ones” but he doesn’t always get the call..

Once he doesn’t get a few calls he gets T’d up and before you know it he’s out of the game. Capela’s defense is crucial if we want to win.

depends on how GS decides to guard him. if they're living with his dives/rolls to the rim then yeah you obviously get him the ball. if they decide to take away this then no, hou doesnt need to get the ball to Clint.

The way houston is going to have to play to beat GS is going to very much depend on what they try to take away first. hou has plenty of ways to beat teams but just force feeding the ball to CC definitely isn't one of them

Was this incisive game plan really so special it couldn't have fit in any of the existing "What we need to do to defeat the Warriors" threads?

Clint will get as many shots that the Warriors allow him to get if they pay too much attention to Harden and CP3. I imagine him getting a lot of high percentage shots would be a really good thing...but not if we are forcing into him. That would probably be the stupidest thing the offense could do given our roster.
