Why would he sign here though to get 0 guaranteed minutes? There are no guaranteed minutes left on the roster at the guard/wing spots.
No it wouldn't, only 5 players can be on the court at a time. Having too many players who don't pose a threat to score isn't going to get it done against the warriors. The balance we have now and hopefully the addition with Melo is a good mix.
Nah, he can’t shoot, they literally had andrew bogut guarding him in the playoffs. Plus, his defense isn’t the same. Our other defenders can at least have some hope when they throw a shot up.

You don't build your depth on wing defenders. That's a waste of your roster spots and a horribly assembled team. I'll say this if he wants to come here for pennies then fine but just know there will be no minutes for him. He's 6'4 and 35 years old. He's not the Tony Allen in that video you posted. He can't guard KD like you said.
