Ryan is too one dimensional-when his shot is off he doesn't bring much. I guess the decision is: Do we want a 3 point PF or one who can defend and rebound? We can't get both; that's probably an all-star level player. DMo has okay D, can't rebound, and can't shoot the 3. He can score in the post. It may surprise some on this board, but he is an injury risk (and not the savior for this team). Noel is now hurt. Out at least 3-5 weeks. Might have been a nice option if we could've obtained him. Don't want him until we can tell if he's healthy, of course. Def and Reb at the expense of offense. Faried? Den wants to trade him but was probably asking too much. I think he's a starter and is obvi great at rebounding. Can he defend? He can finish on the PnR. I like players along the lines of Ed Davis, John Henson, Mike Scott. Don't know if any of them are attainable. Any other PFs people like that could help our team?

We have him. His name is DMO Maury needs to stop penny pinching and kicking cans down the road and sign him up ASAP
Actually it wasn't a long time ago - it was one injury ago that has since healed, we would be seeing that now if Dmo would sign. DD
He had that chance on the market, there were no takers. He could get a max contract by proving he can stay healthy and produce.... Perhaps he doesn't want to bet on himself due to the uncertainty surrounding his back.
The Rockets need a center. Hope that Tyson Chandler has enough left and can be had for scrapes based on his age and salary.
It's counterintuitive but Morey lets RFAs get what they can on the market. Rocket's fan overvalue and undervalue our own.
