This is a tough question. It looks like the Rockets' backcourt is pretty stacked now. MDA will have some work to do to figure out the best rotations and minute distributions between these guys.

And yes, if you look at Gordon vs Thompson in a vacuum I agree that Gordon is clearly the more talented player. But basketball isn't played in a vacuum and even though Gordon is the more talented player, Thompson has had the more productive career. He has been able to stay healthier (which, unfortunately, is a talent) and is a perfect fit next to Curry.

And that's the most important thing- not just how many good pieces you have but how well those pieces fit together. It looks like our backcourt will be pretty loaded but we still need to see how all those pieces fit together. For now you still have to say GSW still has the best backcourt and it will stay that way until some other team proves they can take that title away from them.

I guess you never heard but Klay is a tremendous two-way player, so the answer has to be Golden State.

Not sure if it's confirmed but that's what I have read a couple of times so far.

I could see Williams not being cleared in time(although he and Brewer each have nearly 2 days to report and complete a physical). There's no excuse though for the Pelicans and Kings to not officially complete their deal before Thursday's tipoff.

Lou Williams was playing on a pretty bad Lakers team...I hope his play remains the same on the Rockets

Our back court have it all

    James Harden - MVP
Eric Gordon - 3 Point Champion
Lou WIlliams - 6th Man of the Year
Pat Bev - Taco bell Pollo Loco Skills Contest Champion

c*m at me when any other back court has these honors

Our backcourt really could use Monta Ellis.

Don't know if we have the best back court, but we sure have the deepest.

But who cares about their prospect status. This is the nba and theyve both been in the league for years.

Have you seen the same klay thompson I have? 3 time all star. Hes made all NBA teams and set NBA records before.

Nobodys tryna hear about Mr Basketball in Indiana lol. Also you are incorrect about Gordon making half of what thompson makes. Check your facts. Gordon makes around 12 mil and thompson makes around 15-17 mil.

I love gordon and hate having to argue for a warriors deuche but the homerism is super real here

I'd put us at number 2.

Curry-Thompson-Livingston is #1. You don't need four because you can always stagger 3.

Sorry but harden is better than curry hands down. You talk about comparing their achievements but curry benefited from a system that amplifies his abilities even beyond what we have with harden. Curry will never put up 50/10/10 and he won't create 90 points of offense. He will make more threes which aren't any more efficient than harden's drives.

It was just a silly exercise to show that > / < doesn't mean much.

D'Antoni's system amplifies Harden for stats much more than Curry has ever had. D'Antoni PGs always fill up the stat sheet, even scrubs. Curry in D'Antoni would be crazy too. There's no way to prove that he couldn't put up the same absurd stats that Harden puts up (besides rebounding)

Curry is already playing in D'Antoni's system. Where do you think Kerr learned it, hint: Phoenix? GSW is certainly not running the Triangle.

the GSW warriors don't just run an MDA system. Kerr said he took studied and took from about 4 diff coaches during his time. it's a combination of different ones. MDA is part of it + add actions off low post screens done by sloan in utah + "horns" attack by Pop and the spurs + their version of the triangle which is read and react
