There's no such thing as inherent role value in the NBA.

Otherwise Rudy Gobert and Draymond wouldn't be able to control series that have Westbrook, George, Paul, and Harden in them.

If you are terrible in an important role you are arguably even more terrible if we want to go down that road.

Anthony being a terrible third option makes him tiers below Eric Gordon for instance.
