Thunder should seriously consider trading Westbrook. Otherwise they're just wasting George like they did with Durant before he bailed. Westbrook is not built for playoff basketball. Send him to a starving bottom feeder who will be happy just to have a "superstar" on the team.
Chuck just said there are no difference between okc and the spurs..!!!!!! What the actual **** ......
No way you pay 3 players 40 million and he is more deserving than CP3 to get that money. He deserves to take no back seat to either JH or CP.
This dude Westbrook really missed 20 shots in an elimination game and blew a 15 point lead. PG and Schroder had great games too. It doesn’t matter who you put around this dude his inefficiency and horrible decision making make a hard ceiling on your team. Effort, mean mugging, and rebounds don’t matter when your going 11-31. Putting he ball in the hoop and making good decisions with the ball will always be more valuable. He’s honesty the worst MVP ever. Steve Nash would have beat the blazers. Donovan is going to get the blame but no coach can do anything with this dude.
Westbrook's trading value is very negative given his contract, personality and how fast he declined over the past few years. It's probably the hardest contract to trade in NBA along with John Wall's contract. But OKC fans still loves him, and the organization is going to crown him as the greatest Thunder ever, so no way they're going to trade him.
Oh no? Didn’t he score 14 points in the 4th in game 3? Didn’t he also hit the game winner over Klay and Donkey against GSW? These are just 2 I can think off the top of my head. Know your facts before you make yourself look dumb.
Come on now! Harden has been consistently good in the playoffs since he joined the Rockets. He's averaging around 26 points, 8 assists and like 6 rebounds since he joined the Rockets in the playoffs. Yeah, he's had a few bad games every now and again (so has every player)..... but for the majority of them, he's been pretty good. The whole narrative Harden doesn't perform in the playoffs is stupid. Now to mention, Harden hasn't really had a good team in the playoffs. It's only the last 2 seasons he's had a team to compete.
I think it's an argument you can make definitely. I know people bring up Nash but Nash ran into a dynasty and competed in historically one of the toughest conferences of all time. He never made the finals because of that...sort of like Harden and the Warriors (but hopefully that changes this season) Westbrook an MVP that can't get his team out of the first round. I think it's an easy argument to make that he's the worst MVP ever. D.Rose in competition there but he at least got his teams far in the playoffs when he was healthy.
George can jump out of his contract in two years, one year before Westbrook, will be interesting to see if/what happens in OKC this summer, they have no chance to improve the team with no assets and only the tax MLE to use, Roberson will be back but i'm not sure he will play over Ferguson at this point, assuming he's going to be healty again of course...i don't know how the same ownership that let Harden go to not pay the tax, is going to pay the repeater for a team that underachived and got knocked out in the 1st round for two consecutive years.
The OKC writer who Russ refuses to answer with the "next questions" is laughing in the press room with Stots. I can't wait until Russ gets to the podium. I'm not even sure he is going to show up.
Well, we did try to trade for him (after we got Paul) and for Butler so, i guess ownership was and is willing to max three guys.
Or when he closed the game against the Spurs this season. There have been plenty of games where Harden has been clutch.... just people forget them because hating on Harden is cool, I guess.
