This is an awesome site if you want to compare teams of the past. You can do a single simulation and get an actual boxscore for a game between two teams, or do a matchup analysis and see how the teams stack up against each other if they played 1000 games. The site is: http://www.whatifsports.com For a more direct link, or if you get confused: http://www.whatifsports.com/locker/simulations.shtm Go to the bottom of the page, and click on Pro basketball. It's pretty fun. Try it out. Post some stuff here to see what results we get when comparing teams. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier fan club! Cool. Thanks Cat. I've always wanted to see how the 94-95 Rocks would do against the 96-97 Bulls. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
That's crazy!!! The 94-95 Rocks lost to the 99-00 Lakers by 12, to the 96-97 bulls by 17. The 93-94 Rocks lost to the lakers by 8 and the bulls by 12. The 94-95 Rocks lost to the, get this, 94-95 ORLANDO MAGIC BY 11!!! That, is impossible. They're probably based on this years stats for those players, because I know Shaw would've gotten did up by Dream. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Rockets R'Us and others, Just found out a bug on the system- the 94-95 team did not have Clyde on it when I simulated. It didn't have Thorpe either, who we traded for Clyde. It had neither. Not sure why, but that team isn't accurate. The 93-94 is however, so I'd use that more. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier fan club! Yeah I noticed the bug, no wonder we didn't win. Here's some other Non-rockets related scores: 94-95 Magic w/Shaq & Shaw vs. 99-00 Lakers w/Shaw & Shaw Magic 104 Lakers 101 Magic Shaq:20 pts, 0 blks LAkers Shaq:28 pts, 4 blocks Man, I just found out something cool. If you go back to the matchup page with the same teams and press simulate, it gives you a different score and different box scores. hehe erases my suspicion that it was the same page every time. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left!
