For those that wanted Jahidi White, he was signed by the Wiz.

    From the AP Wire :

    Wizards Re-Sign Three Players

    By JOSEPH WHITE
    AP Sports Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) — Jahidi White, Chris Whitney and Laron Profit re-signed with the Washington Wizards, who were unable to lure other teams' free agents because of salary cap problems.

White, a center, was the only one of the Wizards' signings that drew significant interest elsewhere. He averaged 7.1 points and 6.9 rebounds, blocked 83 shots and started the final 59 games of last season.

Whitney, who backed up starting point guard Rod Strickland, averaged 7.8 points and 3.8 assists. Profit, also a reserve, played in 33 games in his rookie season, averaging 1.5 points.

Whitney signed a three-year deal worth $8.2 million, according to a source close to the negotiations, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Terms of the other deals were not disclosed, although the Washington Post said Profit agreed to a two-year contract that would could be worth more than $1.1 million.

The Wizards are well over the salary cap for the upcoming season because of the big salaries of Strickland, Mitch Richmond and Juwan Howard. Teams can exceed the cap when re-signing their own players.

We don't need him...besides, if you were him would you want to go to the team that has a player that got his highlight dunk of the year knockin your butt to the ground? [IMG]

Yes, because it'd be so much easier to find him and kick his arse. [IMG]
