The strength of the Pelicans is undoubtedly in their bigs – Anthony Davis, Nikola Mirotic and Julius Randle.
It ain’t because we had a bad game— whatever. It is their frontcourt is bigger, quicker and better than ours. It cannot be fixed.

Randle is bigger, quicker and better than Melo. Melo is old and slow.
Davis is just better than Capela. Capela is soft against Davis.
Mirotic is bigger and better than Ennis/Tucker. Tucker is old and small.

The three forwards combined for 87 points, 34 rebounds (11 offensive) and 14 assists on 33-of-56 shooting (58.9 percent) while Mirotic and Randle combined to shoot 8-of-12 from deep.

I miss Ariza and Moute a lot!!

After 1 game i wouldn't agree. If Rockets played them with a similiar attention to detail as they do GS... Rockets would attack their weaknesses more.

Is this a cleverly disguised DMo thread?

We need a 6'10" defensive PF:

    Amir Johnson
    Patrick Patterson
    James Johnson
    Thaddeus Young

Also their back court is better than displayed in Game 1.

We know that Holiday has done well with his game last postseason. Payton has the tools to get better. The potential is uncanny.

Remember when warriors lost the lakers in the first games of the season. Remember when people lost their mind?. Me either losses happen. Rockets beat themselves. Pelicans are improved but mediocre at best

Unknown. The whole team didn't show up last night. Pelicans show up want to beat the best team in the West. Meanwhile we are in sleep mode.

Pelicans fan said they could have beat Warriors without Iguodala last year.

    Thaddeus (Young) doesn't trigger me.
    Thaddeus (Brown) triggers me.
    Get it right! ;)

This team swapped out 3 or it's core guys for like 5 new players. This isn't going to just magically be like last year.

It's gonna take some games. It's up to MDA to get these guy prepared. No time for panic. Good team start slow when introducing new parts.

Pelicans are underrated. They are the one of the best teams in the nba.

If they kept Rondo and Boogie, they would be the best team in the nba!
