Does choosing to waive clark in order to hit the max number of roster spots mean the Sixers are keeping Granger?

Do you think his bird rights will have some value this offseason?

Or maybe hinkie is doing more a solid and waiting til we waive someone (Brewer?)?

I guess we have to figure out what type of player we could use, is it a PF, a wing, a shooter a C?

I would rather sign anouther young kid dp either from a dleague (troy or Tim) or morey just to find patbev2.0 overseas

Clark is a little bit - and I mean a little bit of each. Jack of some trades, master of none?

His versatility could come in handy. He seemed worthy of being in a rotation for the Lakers last year.

He can't be worse than Casspi

If we do trade TJones in a bigger deal at some point next year, Earl seems like someone who can do the same things but would be the fraction of the cost because he's 26. Maybe we could sign him to the typical Morey contract (team option)?

so far, i don't see how any of the guys that have been bought out can help us. Clark is having a bad year, and i'd rather give those minutes to the developing Jones and Dmo anyway. Glen Davis really isn't a fit. Jamison is done. Even if Granger gets bought out, at this point, he's not playing any better than Jordan Hamilton (in fact, worse).

I would love to get Earl Clark. He looked pretty good with the Lakers. Imagine getting to a team like ours that has hope and he could have more to play for.

So we going to pick up someone who was thrown away as 'hot garbage' by other teams again?

I would take Earl Clark in a second. He is pretty solid and last year had really good games for the Lakers but once again the Cavs' system ruined his growth. Hamilton and Clark are better players than Garcia and Casspi.

Would also try to pick up Davis as he can be the veteran big we need. Dmo has been playing well but he just isn't there yet in physicality. And Jones has been slightly disappointing as of late. All of the West teams have good to great power forwards as I don't think our young bigs are ready to match up against them yet.

In the D'Antoni offense which is similar to ours, he was a solid rotation player. Cleveland was a mess and had no interior threats yet he still shot the 3 at an okay rate for a forward.

    I don't think he's a can't miss guy but he's intriguing.

I really don't care, I just want a player to come out and win.

Casspi and Garcia just don't have the heart to win.

Earl Clark sucks. Who would he play over?

If he's an insurance player, that's one thing. But he's not better than anybody that's currently in our rotation.

Granger is the far superior option for us.

He'd immediately surpass Casspi in the rotation. Depending on the games, he'd also go above Garcia in the rotation.

    This is crazy talk.

Casspi is better shooter and defender. We're a 3&D team. These two factors are kind of important. Plus, Cleveland's offense was absolutely atrocious with Clark on the floor this year. He's a spot up shooter that can't shoot.

As for Garcia, he is a 2/3. Clark is a 3/4. We're thin at the 2/3 as is, do you really want Clark out there trying to guard opposing 2's?

Another vote for Clark. Really liked his play with the Lakers. Surprised they didn't keep him.

Apparently somebody missed the playoffs last year.

I would really like Danny Granger and/or some kind of veteran presents.
