Melo can end this whenever he wants. All it takes is "Yeah, I'll sign your extension". Game over.

Melo is the one who put himself in this situation in the first place and now he's "tired of it" . He's too caught up in NY and doesn't realize the business side of basketball is very complicated especially when his team is trying to fit his demands while positioning themselves solidly for the future.

So what is Wade asking people to do? Stop talking about it?? We'll stop talking about it when Melo decides what he wants to do.....until then, he's completely brought this upon himself. By pining for New York so publicly, he's pretty much pigeon-holed himself with the fans.

Is anyone else seeing this interview with Prokhorov? I can't listen, but it says "we're walking away from the deal." So is it offical, the Nets are out of the running?

Don't think he's been 'pining' for NY publicly. Fans are just deducing that from his refusal to sign extension with Nuggets and Nets. Not his fault the Nuggets and Knicks haven't agreed to anything yet. Melo actually hasn't said much publicly..

Melo has done nothing wrong here. He doesnt want to screw over the Nuggets like how LeBron screwed over the Cavs.

He is informing the Nuggets now, insisting that there is a possibility for him to sign elsewhere which would result the Nuggets in losing their franchise player for nothing.

Denver needs to stop being so damn greedy before they shoot themselves in the foot and come out with nothing.

I'm sure this will all be resolved by the trade deadline. Whatever the outcome is should benefit the Rockets in someway unless Melo ends up in NY this season, but I don't see that happening.

If Wade is tired now, he's gonna be exhausted later. Hope Melo plays the entire season in Denver. Probably a SnT over the summer if the CBA gets worked out in time. If not, he could twist in the wind for some time.

This isn't exactly news worthy. He just said he's sure he's tired of it which means he thinks that Melo is tired of it.

Hell Melo can be tired of it all he wants but he is the reason why there has been so much trade talk.
