W/CP3, will this be the 1st time Harden has been barked at on the court? & how will he handle it?

I've seen Ariza bark at Harden before.

CP will bark at Harden. CP will bark any anyone. I think with Harden's personality, he will take it in stride. Harden respects CP and that is key.

It is a luxury now to have CP on this roster where he can actually PUSH Harden to be a better player.

From junkyard dog to a real Bulldog.

Again he will bark at refs much more than at Harden and Dan Toney. Get used to it.

Clearly it will end up something like this.

Agreed. I think in a way, he's not unlike LeBron (before he won his first championship). He knows he is the man, and is too damn good not to be, but in addition to actual help on the floor, he wanted a killer/floor-leader next to him.

And while Wade didn't publicly bark at Bron, he clearly was the fire and head of the snake in the first year with Bron (even though Bron was the best player in the game). The problem was that Bron internalized being #2 on the leader totem-pole, and it affected his assertiveness (see the Dallas Finals).

I hope Harden doesn't do the same...because in a way, I can see CP3 taking this team by the horns in the locker-room and as a floor-leader, and I could see Harden being less assertive when push comes to shove in the playoffs (worst-case scenario).

As long as Paul knows Harden is #1, and he'll be the backbone of the team when they need it...because that's how Miami won, when Wade let Bron take centerstage, but was still there as a leader when Bron needed him to be (as he was still learning to be one).

I think they will be fine. CP3's on-court temperament is no secret -- I personally think James knows he needs a push and wanted him here, at least in part, for that reason. I also think it's good that they have solid mutual friends in Trev & Bobby who can smooth rough patches. Inevitably though, they will exchange words during a game, at which point fans will decide CP3 is definitely leaving this summer, no all-star will ever play with Harden again, and we are destined for the lottery through 2023.

..Or maybe he's just barking because I'm yelling:D

Is there confirmation of this happening? Is that why Beverley requested a trade?

I really hope CP3 throws a pass that Harden has no chance to catch and then CP3 yells at Harden for it instead of accepting that it was his turnover. Harden needs to feel that burn.

Did you enjoy Dwight Howard’s last season here? No? Well, that is a direct correlation of the dynamics of a relationship in play. I didn’t mention everything was going to be roses, it never is, but I am curious how it will play out when it’s not. Not that hard to understand really.

what about it? Hou was losing. Don't think anyone enjoys losing. When you're losing of course things will generally be worse than what is should be
