have the texans produced any heroes like the Texans or Astros?

why should the Texans get the same respect and glory as the other beloved teams in town?

I remember before the draft I was firmly in the VY camp. I knew he was the right pick to make, and he's proven it so far. Mario's okay, but not as good as Vince. Bush is a total bust, which was obvious.

David Carr is a horrendous quarterback and the decision to pass on the hometown hero will haunt the Texans franchise for the rest of it's pitiful existence.

I love Vince but IMO folks who root for a team because of a certain player are freaking losers.

If the Texans had drafted VY I would of been very happy and would of loved the fact I could root on a hometown guy.

They passed on him so I am a Texans fan who will follow VY very close like I follow all our local Houston area talent.

Vince is still a rookie.

I don't think he'll be 'dismantling' teams yet. Maybe late in year 2 or in year 3 he'll start to really crank it up in some games, but I would be surprised if before then.
