Yeah seems a little long for a marginal NBA player. Isn't he in Europe?

    That's what I thought, but I bet it's somewhat non-guaranteed.

Vanilla Wafer waived today. Final 2 years were non-guaranteed.

I hear Rick is looking for a SG? :p

Sucks for Von, but at least he made it another year in the league. I thought he was done after this:

What happened to Von. He was a huge part of our offense during our 22-game winning streak... He lit it up in the playoffs as well.

He hit the game winner against the Celtics to keep our streak alive. (Or am I wrong and thinking of a completely different season? Lol.)

He was pretty fun to watch when he was here. Maybe the most popular Rocket for a short while.

Seems like ever since he had a falling out with RA in that playoff game against the Lakers his career went to ****.

The Celtics could sure use him right about now.

I wonder . . . Why NOW? The only reason I can think of is that a portion of his 2012-13 salary would become guaranteed if he wasn't waived by, say, May 30. Otherwise, it makes no sense to waive a non-guaranteed contract worth $1.15M that could help facilitate trades.

They don't even have a GM to facilitate trades. :p

In all seriousness, good point there. Not sure. It's a mess in Orlando.
