This is why I laugh when some of the guys I play pick up ball with talk like beating a WNBA player would be a cake walk.

I've seen some D1 girls that put dudes to shame.

 

So NBA guys don't play great defense. Awesome.

 

lets face it, we dont guard girls the same way we guard guys.. dont care how good they are. And if you do, it just looks that much more laughable on the court.

 

This is why Telfair is the third-string point guard on the worst team in the league.

 

anyone (including D1 girls) can dribble and make jumpshots. Can you do against a good defense tho? Simply not the same level.

Cappie Pondexter is a beast; probably 1 of 4 players in the WNBA I'll watch if on. With that said, Telfair wasn't playing real defense. Even though people love to clown Telfair and say he is a bust, he is a solid NBA player that just didn't live up to overwhelming hype coming out of high school.

 

Funny how everyone says Kevin Durant sucks because he scored 66 points playing against "**** defense".
All of a sudden Cappie Pondexter (Who?) does the same and all of a sudden she's a living legend. Right.

 

What? Completely unrelated. People are talking about Cappie Pondexter because she schooled an NBA player, not because she scored a ton of points on a bad defense. Nobody is labeling her a legend because of this.

She's one of the best WNBA players, so she's doing the legend part on her own. I think she's already won a championship and a Finals MVP if I'm not mistaken, so she's already ahead of Durant there in terms of building her legacy.

 

She's a good shooter, other than that if Sebastian played tough defense she would have been the one getting schooled.

 

This is exactly why I don't ever match up with a girl. You can't win.

The last time I matched up against a girl I was an "ass" for blocking her shot a couple times in a row. And then when I let up and she eventually scored a couple times with mid-range jumpers, I "got schooled by a girl". It's just awkward. I even feel bad for the girl, she just wanted to play some ball. I can't imagine she wanted people to laugh at me whenever she scored or to call me an ass if I stopped her.

 

OK now we're talking about the validity of her performance? You're all over the place. Who plays tough defense in these games anyway? Since they're all playing subpar defense, her performance should be well taken.
