    An off-season of work with CD and this Robinson guy will be a monster next year.

    Dirk was 20 his rookie year, and some people want to call all Euro's soft. There are probably fans who think Asik is soft.

    Robinson is turning 22 in 10 days. If he was 20, that would be a different story.

    also some seem to think that TRob doesnt have a high upside because of his age, these were probably the same people that thought Parsons didnt have a high upside because he came into the NBA at 22

    No he doesn't. He has similar upside, just for a completely different style of game. He has higher defensive and rebounding potential but his ceiling is much lower on offense.

    He can be a Faried/Josh Smith type, whereas D-Mo can be a Pau Gasol type.

    A little undersized but I like him. He looks ok defending out on the perimeter as well. He can give McHale options on a small ball lineup.

    You once told me that the +/- stat was dumb. So why are you using it now?

    Yes, I found it. So is the +/ stat a dumb stat or not? Why use it if you think it's dumb?

    Based on this one game or rather a 10 minute period of play by T-Rob?

    I like the combo of T-Rob with Smith and Dmo with Asik. Balance since Smith actually has nice touch around the rim.

    Yea same. I like the DMo/Asik duo - that said, if it means DMo gets more offensive touches during the game, put him on the bench.

    Also I'll say this now: DMo isn't as defensively deficient as some here seem to think and T-Rob isn't as defensively proficient as some here seem to think either.

    D-Mo is my favorite rocket. I'd like him to start games against more defensive-minded teams to bring in some extra scoring. However, against more offensive-minded teams we could start T-Rob:

    1) D-Mo gets to showcase his offense against inferior defenders;
    2) T-Rob is better on D so it might be better to utilize his defensive skills against the more offensively gifted opponents.

    McHale could give 24-28min to each one of them. In such situation they would be constantly competing for the starting and improving at a much faster rate. I know that D-Mo probably doesn't need more motivation, but I'm not yet sure what T-Rob's work ethic is.
