some of Dally's post moves vs kings reminded me of Hakeem's

 

I dont expect him to score like this every night. But he better close off the middle every night.

 

If he can maintain this level on a regular basis, bodes well for the Rockets.

 

It's nice to see him active tonight! Even though he did get away with a hack on that block on Evans. He also got away with offensive goaltending and a travel on that shot...haha...The ball clearly doesn't come all the way off the rim. He must have known that the refs were going to be on his side last night! :grin:

 

Delambert played awesome. We don't need him to be consistent in the scoring, but if he can be a 12 rebound, 3 block guy...we have a winner! I wished everyone played with the aggression he had last night. Parsons,Lowry,Scola seem to always have it, but rest of guys need to develop that. Dragic has that too, but he is playing too out of control at the moment and his scoring has been off.

This game was called for those of us who were complaining about the refs, completely lopsided on our favor. It still leaves me uneasy because my perception (probably biased) says that this season it is the stronger team who's been getting the favorable calls, more so than in the past.

It has been said enough that the type of game Dalembert had will be a rarity because of the lack of motivation, I'd like to add that he didn't find any resistance coming from the other team, he was playing against a ghost:

He was coming off a career-high 19 rebounds in Wednesday night's win over Toronto and it was the first time in six games that he had scored fewer than 16 points.

After the game both he and Sacramento coach Keith Smart said Cousins wasn't feeling well on Friday.

"I don't know what's going on," Cousins said. "I couldn't stop coughing and I can't seem to get over it." ​

Yeah, I pretty much concur. Toss in Sam's penchant for getting in foul trouble and you have a recipe for inconsistency.

And last night WAS personal with Cousins .....

I always hoped Sam would break out and play to his potential on a nightly basis. As is though, I could see the Rockets moving him at the deadline to Miami, LA, or somebody of that ilk. The return might be better than one would initially think considering that sweet contract.
