It would be nice if Jeremy Lin thanked God after a crappy night or when he gets benched and the team loses.
Seems to me that he's reminding himself more than us. Trying to continually stand in relation to G-d. He's in the hot seat, lots of pressure, expectation, and he's handling it very well. I don't feel like he's proselytizing me, so I'm good with it. He's a good kid.
Finally people hear it too: terrible music by NBA TV in the background! What's up with Brent Barry's question: "If you're playing for God, does McHale know he's the assistant coach?" Bit lame in my opinion and glad Jeremy didn't answer.
penetrate & devastate (thanks Clyde): the key to Lin and Harden playing together, and these rockets winning.
sure He does...thats why he allowed himself to be tortured on a cross so that they might have life eternal in heaven. So that what short hardships we endure on this earth mean nothing in the scope of eternity. Its a nice picture to try and paint when your bitter or to angry to live the life He calls us to...but its not valid. Not to mention suffering would be minimized if man would live the life that Christ called to live. God has proven His love...(sorry this isnt about basketball) but cant let complete nonsense be spouted off about something I treasure infinitely more than basketball.
