Pat needs to develop some true point guard skills. Cant make entry passes. Still ignores Dmo when he gets great post position and play usually ends on a stupid 3 attempt. Good thing he hits the 3 from time to time otherwise he'd be on that bench next to Canaan and Nick.

The Rockets had allowed less than 100 point in 13 games of the first 15 games of the season and won 12 of those 15.

Today the Rockets scored 103.

Well it seems the whole team seems to agree that the energy wasn't there. Seems like a pretty easy thing to fix. Just play harder.

i am referring to the new lineup with Josh Smith in there. Our starters shot something like 17-40 (along with questionable shot selection) without Harden. defense is all good and everything, but you don't need lock down lockdown defenders at every position. Just average will be fine as long as they arent running around without a clue on offense.

I think once they got Smith they drank a little Koolaid - and they need to humble themselves (Something Bev also said) and get back to work.

The part about the starters caring too much about who gets the ball, etc. is kinda weird, or is that just me?

 

This is what I took from it as well. Guys played a lot harder when we were undermanned and perceived as underdogs. Maybe this string of losses will push them back there.

 

puzzling to me as well, especially since he's averaging 11 FGA a game on 36% shooting.
