We can go small at 7 feet, there's that. More options...

i like MDAs interviews. he doesn't fluff or try to play games with the media. he is ,for the most part, direct.

BOBs interviews are ****. quit trying to play games with the media if you can't back it up on the field.

I think MDA can really unlock D-Mo's potential that McHale/JBB failed to unlock due to the formers' lack of offensive structure, especially in the half court.

D-Mo has the passing ability and the high BBIQ where he could emulate a lot of what Boris Diaw brought to those Suns teams. Of course Diaw is a much better ball handler and better passer but D-Mo brings height, a real 3 point shot, post up game and defense.

    I like him, too.

But, easy to do when you are just talking positives. Was he direct without fluffing when things were going poorly in NYC and LAL. Didn't he point fingers at players? JVG was good at being direct in both positive and negative interviews....even called out Francis for ASG-Gate. And in the end, his players always loved him.

As for McHale, you can tell now with how he talks direct without fluff as a TV Analyst, that he probably was holding back from airing dirty laundry in public as a coach.

I get the sense MDA and Morey did NOT see eye to eye on matching D-Mo. I think Morey was against it, but MDA has a good case to make coming off this road trip. Les made the final decision, but I really sense tension between coach and GM and it's not the first time I get that feeling. Anyone else seen hints of that?

Did D Antoni post D Mo as his Man Crush Monday on instagram today?

He's pretty obsessed with D Mo. I'm interested to see how he will use him.

Well they are not always aligned, D'Antoni and Les are focused on THIS year, and Morey is focused on the long view - so they have to meet and weigh the options and Les makes the call.....
