I hate it when Les Alexander speaks.

    Haha

Yeah I dont know why I brought that up or found it 'intriguing'. Effort, hustle, hard work, trying, etc doesnt seem to be a problem with the Rockets.

I loved this part. Something Adelman wasn't very good at.

Playing AB when he was flat out killing us is one of the main reasons we didn't make the playoffs.

I think this approach will be much better for T-Will. I think part of the problem--besides T-Will dogging it during his limited minutes--was that Adelman simply never talked to the kid. When Rick spoke, the players listened; but Rick just didn't speak all that much. McHale, on the other hand, will be more likely to talk to T-Will about why he's glued to the bench. Maybe the kid can learn more from the coach communicating some of his mistakes with him.

Or he could continue to dog it if he's not getting meaningful minutes. Who knows?!

This is about the only thing I like about hiring McHale is that he isn't going to be involved in personnel decisions.

I would hate to wake up one day and see Clutchfans' headline.

He's too stupid to evaluate talent but he'll be able to allocate minutes on a deep team like the Rockets.

Did you watch any of the games?

T-will stunk up the floor. That was the problem. I suspect he stunk it up even more at practice. For a guy who got a law degree you don't always see very well.

He's definitely gonna be involved in roster decisions. The front office and Les like him and respect his intelligence too much to exclude him.

Also, it's kind of useful to have Kevin McHale involved in those trade talks if the other team still thinks of KMac as stupid. Some teams apparently don't want to trade with Houston because they think slick Daryl is always trying to take advantage of them... now we can just have KMac call them with the same offer and they'll think it's must be a great deal.

I'm willing to bet though that McHale would have preferred getting a top Exec job like he had in Minny and like his buddies Bird and Ainge have right now.

When I first posted this pic, last offseason, I never thought our leaders would be exiled. The empire is close to being completed now.

    I'm hoping all goes well.

Is it really necessary to have personal attacks in all your responses, or does that bitterness just come with age?

No one is saying Terrence Williams played well or anything close. He did play poorly. However, I'm not sure how much you can conclude at all from 11 games and 84 garbage time minutes total as a Houston Rocket. As for the practice floor, apparently Kyle Lowry never showed enough to Adelman in practice to prove he could start before Brooks got injured. How did that work out?

For someone as old as yourself, aren't you supposed to be wise, instead of worthless?

OMR, I think we all agree Williams stunk it up and played r****ded basketball-- and he, not Adelman, is the one to blame. However, this doesn't mean McHale might not do better with him. Sometimes, a r****ded kid can be helped by a good special ed teacher.
