I love how he goes up strong and tries to throw it down in traffic rather than just trying to put the ball up on the rim with a weak layup attempt. He also seems to know how to get to spots on the floor in transition really well and gets into the gaps of the defense.
thx for posting the vid. pretty repetitive, but at least the dude plays like he knows how big he is. it's going to be nice having a center that doesn't need to reestablish position or feel the need to always pass the ball back out after an offensive rebound.

This. Foul trouble is the only thing that concerns me. Asik, as a starter, will have to learn how to pace himself or he will foul out by the 3rd quarter. I am very excited to have him. We haven't had a real rim protector for some time now. Asik's value to the team will be evident from the onset, but especially against teams like Miami, who have used us for layup practice the last 2 years.
