This is pretty much the greatest video of all time. <object width="388" height="394" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="ep"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=rockets&videoId=teams/rockets/2009/11/18/12greatestmomentsweb512Kmov-1130945" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=rockets&videoId=teams/rockets/2009/11/18/12greatestmomentsweb512Kmov-1130945" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="388" wmode="transparent" height="394"></embed></object>
I still feel bad for David Robinson... he had no idea what was coming when he accepted that MVP trophy
hopefully thats a random order because I feel like 13 in 33 should've been higher than 12th cause it was epic and you'll never see another hit for consecutive 3's in 30 seconds with 1 of them being an and1.
there's no order, but that's definitely the bottom along with drafting Yao. Everything else is CHAMPIONSHIP related. Championship >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>regular season Jan... "13 in. 35" Feb... "heart of A champion" (second championship) March... "the block" (hakeems block on starks) April... "the streak" May.... "houston's first championship" June... "the dream comes true" (drafting hakeem) July... "welcome home Clyde " August... "schooling Mr. Robinson" September... "Sampson's buzzer" (1986 conference finals) October... "the kiss of death" November... "the year of the yao" (drafting yao) December... "the run in 81" (nba finals) __________________
It was a great INDIVIDUAL moment, but in terms of FRANCHISE history, that's nothing but a blip on the radar. FRANCHISE moments are made in the playoffs, and in the Championship. Plain and simple.
So is Dream schooling Robinson or Clyde coming back to Houston in a way. The fact is that for the Rockets franchise and its fan base it was memorable.
I teared up....and got lots of goosebumps. The Sampson shot had my eyes watering....seriously, the call of the guys screaming yes yes! We're on our way! Good times. Hopefully this team will have more fun times in the future, although the current franchise of TMAC and Yao has turned into failure.
