That actually seems slightly low I am guessing more 58-59 wins for this team for a few reasons:

1) GS is going to probably run through and get HC again they saw how much it actually meant to them last year and if they are playing at 100% once Boogie comes back there is no stopping them
2) More rest for guys
3) Hard to know right away how the new guys may fit in and how long they may take to click
4) I think losing Jeff B was huge not sure if our defense is going to be the same (less to do with Ariza and Mbah leaving tbh)

of course this is if they have full health relatively speaking throughout the season

 

Absolutely take the over. They could be 8 games worse than last season...a significant drop..and you'd still be a winner. I wish I was in Vegas.

 

I figured every over under podcast I listened to would have them as an easy over but I’d say of all the voices I heard it was a 50/50 split.

 

My line is 56, I took the over. I think the Rockets know how vital home court is for a championship.

 

58 TO 62 WINS IS GOOD. that will make sure our guys have adequate time to rest and good team balance. The biggest issue is mda must use 9 to 10 players to keep a good mix and to get maximum effort

I keep hearing about this line, but I've yet to see this Future actually available, except some Foreign online betting site. Anyone in Vegas know if the casinos offer this. Anyone know of a reputable online site?

I use 5dimes, took the over when it was 54.5 -110. They currently have it at 55.5 -120.

 

Betting on the over on basketball is never the smart play. Eventhough I think it maybe low, you just never know how the season plays out especially knowing how injury prone CP3 is.

Of course you never know. A hundred different things could happen that could influence the way the season goes. That's why it is called betting.


With that said, taking the over for us at that is an easy, easy choice. And I'm not even into betting on sports.

 

I wish I was in Vegas too because I think we will definitely be over that! I placed my bet on a Championship this summer when I was in Vegas this because I believe we have the team to do it this year. Same bet for the Astros.

2 out of 3 would make me happy, since my Texans Championship bet is probably about as likely to happen as McNair figuring out that BOB isn't worthy of being our Offensive Coordinator and Coach, and giving him the boot.

 

I would take the over. No way we have under 60 wins. The only way I see under 60 happening is if Chris Paul trips down knocking over Carmello Anthony, who then falls into James Hardens knee and takes them all out for the season. Even then, Eric Gorgon still somehow takes us to 50 wins hahaha.
