    we will see peoples.

i think with an improved (i hope) running game, that will take some of the pressure off of gilbert and he will be very much improved this year.

The o-line is the key more than anything... they were absolutely pathetic last year. A solid, cohesive unit will pave the way for a more effective ground game + a more confident QB.

Love the indirect insult to Baylor. We were ranked going into week 10 last season.

Did you enjoy when we raped your Rice Owls last season? LOL

    Scoreboard, brahhh!!

So what is the non-partisan prediction for UT this year? Will they win 7 games? 8? 10?

The talent is always going to be there. It comes down to QB play.

Yet sadly our athletic program blows away the Rice Owls' program. When was the last time Rice got even a mention through any channel of the national media?

Rice's program mirrors one of a division II school. No, I'll take that back. Some division 2 schools have better basketball and football teams. Let me know when Rice gets ballers like Perry Jones and Quincy Miller.

Our football program is making a slow comeback yet I feel that we have nothing to be giddy about. Unlike you who should be nominated for the lamest sig on the board award.

The last time Baylor got any real national media attention was when one of its basketball players killed another one, and the coach tried to cover it up.

    FAIL

Pardon me. Actually the last time Baylor got reat national media attention was when their star basketball player broke his girl's jaw. Scott Drew 1, Dave Bliss 0

fine program you got up there

Nice! Making light of someone getting killed. Real classy. Only the best from Texx.

You have no leg to stand on with the pathetic athletic program Rice has. What is always amusing is hearing Bailiff on 610 sugar coating rapings week after week. "They're good kids.. We have to do better at putting them in positions to suceed. Blah Blah Blah".. How does that guy have a job? I mean the guy sounds nice and all but there are like 10 college teams better than Rice in Texas. A couple of high school teams too.

LOL. So the solution is clearly to recruit more Carlton Dotsons and LaceDarius Dunns. Got it -- thanks!

bigtexxx...anybody looking at this objectively would come to the conclusion that Baylor has some good athletic programs. Both men's and women's basketball have been very solid. Baseball makes some noise every so often and their football team is much better than it was in the mid to late 1990s.

Too many thugs and criminals are playing for Rice if you ask me.

    Poorly run organization.
