How did they come up with this list? Isiah Thomas ahead of Kevin Garnett and David Robinson?

Westbrook is at 37, and Harden is at 60?

    T-Mac ahead of Harden???

A championship and MVP should def push Harden into Top 40

To me, it seems to be more reflective of how NBA players would rank the all-time greats. Hence the high ranking for guys like Iverson and Isiah Thomas who are highly respected among former and current NBA players.

    Kobe>LBJ....IMO

Is this a poll or a few writers got together and made the list. What is the criteria? Championships? Scoring? Global impact? Social Impact? Who’s good based on who the writers have watched?

    Subjective.

Melo shouldn’t be on this list. Welp this list is crazy stupid.

I disagree of the positioning of about 99 of those players. But these lists are just lists. Anyone can make a list.

I thought Hakeem's ranking was reasonable based on who they had before him but then I saw #13 and was like GTFOH this list is garbage.

I think T-Mac would be far higher up the list then. He's pretty well-respected, at least by current NBA players, given that probably 60% of wings idolized his game. AD doesn't make it but Giannis does? Puzzling.

Let's go through the list for top 30:

    1. Michael Jordan - Reasonable
    2. LeBron James - somewhat reasonable
    3. Magic Johnson - unreasonable, at least 3, 4 spots too high
    4. Kareem - reasonable, i'd put him 1 or 2 put higher.
    5. Kobe Bryant - unreasonable, at least 5 spots too high
    6. Shaq - reasonable
    7. Bill Russell - too low IMO since he is the most impactful player ever compared to league average, but 7 isn't too bad
    8. Wilt Chamberlain - somewhat reasonable
    9. Tim Duncan - unreasonable, 5 spots too low
    10. Larry Bird - somewhat reasonable(i'd put him few spots lower)
    11. Oscar Roberston - somewhat reasonable, couple spots too high
    12. Hakeem Olajuwon - somewhat reasonable, couple spots too low
    13. Kevin Durant - unreasonable, too high
    14. Moses Malone - unreasonable, too high
    15. Julius Erving - reasonable
    16. Jerry West - reasonable
    17. Isiah Thomas - the biggest blunder in this list. He doesn't even belong in top 100 IMO(and all objective metrics agree with this). For example he won 1 Finals MVP, same as Iguodala who is better basketball player and isn't on this list
    18. Elgin Baylor - unreasonable, 15 spots too high
    19. Stephen Curry - unreasonable, about 10 spots too high
    20. Charkley Barkley - reasonable
    21. Karl Malone - unreasonable, too low
    22. Scottie Pippen - unreasonable, too high
    23. Dwyane Wade - reasonable
    24. John Havlicek - unreasonable, too high
    25. John Stockton - reasonable
    26. Kevin Garnett - very unreasonable, could be even 20 spots higher.
    27. Dirk Nowitzki - unreasonable, 10 spots too low
    28. Allen Iverson - unreasonable, probably like 50 spots too high
    29. David Robinson - very unreasonable, almost 20 spots too low
    30. Patrick Ewing - reasonable

Only 14 players out of those are in somewhat right place

Stopped reading when I saw Kobe at #5.

Steph Curry at #19 is laughable as well.

8 of the players on the list. A few of them not in their prime. And one only for a single season, Pippen.
