Warriors owner Joe Lacob does it again! From radio interview with him: Then when asked how much of an advantage playing at home is.... Not so subtle dig at Houston fans? https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/03...ry-rockets-and-quinn-cook-in-radio-interview/ Reported comments made after the segment
What was your old, new name? I can't even remember. DetTheThreat? SirJackieSmiles? Sweet Luann Platter?
in before @Reeko begrudgingly agrees. Loving how not worried the Warriors are of the Rockets. It's from top to bottom, lol
Their fans aren't as passionate? 99% of them can't remember the name of a single player from the previous playoff team before the Curry era.
Sending the entire Warriors organization, including Oracle Arena, the-under-construction Chase Center, Warriors fans everywhere, Joe Lacob, Peter Guber, Rick Welts, Kirk Lacob, Bob Myers, Steve Kerr, Mike Brown, Chris DeMarco, Bruce Fraser, Willie Green, Ron Adams, Jarron Collins, Laurence Scott, Bob Fitzgerald, Jim Barnett, Tom Tolbert, Tim Roye, Jordan Bell, Chris Boucher, Omri Casspi, Quinn Cook, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Damian Jones, Shaun Livingston, Kevon Looney, Patrick McCaw, JaVale McGee, Zaza Pachulia, Klay Thompson, David West & Nick Young negative vibes. Sending negative vibes to Klay Thompson, who returns tonight. Do your thing @Louka.
I have to admit.. I care about the opinion of the Warriors owner probably even less than I care about the opinion of Max Kellerman
I have no idea what you’re trying to say in your first sentence because that question mark is throwing me off. But we shouldn’t get overly emotional and make unsubstantiated claims. When the warriors beat the Mavericks in 07 their entire arena was completely packed and loud as hell. It was obvious they have some of the better fans in basketball. Don’t attribute the warriors as having shitty fans because of the new age bandwagon fans. They’ve always had good fans.
It's true, they're passionate and loud and into the games, but let's not forget stupid. Remember when they started to boo their owner and their own legend in Rick Barry for trading away Monte Ellis? Passionate... yes... Dumbasses... yes.
Their fans were passionate booing the crap out of him on Rick Barry night. We dont do stuff like that in Houston.
The Roaricale disappeared about 2 years ago. All the fans that made the place loud were priced out when season tickets went up 120%. All the loud fans in the lower bowl were replaced with tech workers.
That was Chris Mullin's jersey retirement. Will never forget it. I've always given major props to Warriors fans because of how passionate they were when the team wasn't good. But their behavior that night was classless. Rick Barry's attempt to verbally chastise the fans for booing was a dumb idea that could have made the situation a lot worse. Ironically, the trade they were so upset about set them on the road to where they are now.
houston fans do suck. inst that what people have been complaining on this board about for over a decade?
