Upcoming SI story to talk about alleged sexual assault in the Dallas Mavericks organization

I don't think Les would be around the team as much as he is now if he thought something like this was going to blow up in his face. Dude is still sitting front row at games.

 

I would really like to believe Houston is not the type of organization that would let this type of stuff happen.

But we really don't know.

Of course this theres stuff like this that happens in any organization to an extent, but I highly doubt that theres anyone in the Houston offices watching a full on hardcore pronz video.

Yep. Much like what's going on in Hollywood currently, there could be lots of fallout from this.

To throw a grassy knoll out there, then....one might wonder if the investigation and release of this has anything to do with Cuban's political aspirations. At the very least, it would seem to be an aspect of this worthy of discussion...it's hard to imagine anyone running for office with this type of skeleton in their closet. I know many are going to say 'but Trump did!'...but the issue came to a head after he was elected. Had that happened earlier, those allegations probably would have crippled his campaign.

 

Dallas fans would have really liked to believe Dallas wasn't that type of organization, either. It isn't the organization...it's the people. Is NBC 'that type of organization'? Or did they just happen to have a bad apple working for them? Point being...could happen anywhere. Cuban hasn't had any issues of this type at all, and seemed to have taken the appropriate steps when he found out about the allegations. Meaning it wasn't something that came down from the top, and it therefore could happen anywhere. Compare the casting couch culture of Hollywood with the groupies often associated with sports teams (and rock bands ), and it's hard to not think this is more common than people think.
