Would be nice to see Beltran get a walk off here.

Beltran is traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash.

 

0-4 night for Beltran. Should bot be starting for us in the playoffs at all.

 

Well. Might not be the nail in the coffin, but the lid sure is closing. 3 down in the loss column to the Indians who have lost only one damn game in a month.

 

3 hits and none past the 3rd inning against the White Sox bullpen...wtf

 

I'm ready for the Beltran "playoff special".

Any day now.

 

Indians just keep taking care of business while we give games away to scrubs.

Beltran over Edwin looks like a game changer in playoffs.

 

This is obviously Hinch's fault.

 

I really hope Beltran can do some damage in the playoffs because he has really really really sucked lately.

 

I'm trying to be positive here, help a brother out.

 

Anyone who thought Beltran>Edwin (this season) should stop thinking.

 

That Edwin guy signed a 4 year contract.

There is no Verlander if the Astros had signed Encarnacion.

 

Yeah, doubt anyone ever thought Beltran was a better option from a performance standpoint. He was just a short term bandaid. At this point I don't see how you don't carry an extra catcher and let Gattis DH in the playoffs. This idea of "playoff" Beltran is not something I want to rely on when trying to win playoff games.

Since the end of last season I was advocating for two guys: Reddick and Encarnacion. I thought getting those guys for a three year run made this lineup dynamic. Take Edwin off the Indians and you have a huge hole in their lineup.

Give credit to the Indians. They've been opportunistic and scooped up Edwin and then added a near 100 RBI guy in Bruce for nothing to really make their lineup dangerous.

Of course we have a shot but if Springer, Altuve (neither of whom showed up for 2015 ALDS) or Correa don't show up, it won't make much of a difference who is our DH.
