    Believe Rackers got this job.

    Kubiak in the presser:

I may be reading too much into it but..toughest decision he's ever made? Signals to me that Brown is gone. How tough is it to cut a guy that you've known for only a few months(if it were Rackers)?

I would prefer Grossman as a backup QB, more than Rosenfailcopter or Dan Orlovsky.

At least the picks Rex throws would be off 50 yard bombs resulting in better field position.

I want to believe that, and it makes sense, but I'm still worried. Kubiak has continually (also last night) made reference to kickoff distance as a big factor, and Brown is typically a couple yards longer off the tee than Rackers. Even so, Brown didn't make the end zone last night, either, so I don't think it should be a deciding factor.

I really think that 56-yarder that Brown was short on should make the decision easier. He wasn't just a yard or two short - he was a good five short. He wasn't really close. Rackers is quite clearly a more accurate kicker within 50 than Brown, and it's not debatable. The one edge Brown supposedly has is a slightly longer leg... and if he can't get it there anymore, he needs to go.

DanO really fell apart after a good looking start. He just doesnt read defenses well. I was pulling for the guy because he does have the tools to be a quality backup. He just doesnt have the decision making to go a long with it.

I didnt see Booty play because I got bored with the game.

Mitchell showed some explosiveness on the line.

    Graham looks like a player.

Excited to see Dorin get better.

    Nolan keeps getting better.

Corcoran looked pretty decent as well but dont think there is room to keep 2 FBs.

Booty FTW!! He pretty much stole the backup QB job last night. Orlovsky didn't even show up.. That wide receiver Dickerson looked good though, a lot of talent.

JDB is the better QB. I think he would have had a great furture if not for his injury at USC.

He couldve easily thrown two picks yesterday. He got pretty lucky a few times. Orlovsky and Booty are both scrubs.

Booty over threw but he never threw in between triple coverage or directly to a LB.

Dan was flat out horrible. Booty at least knew where NOT to throw it.
