The most important thing that the Astros can do, is take the Yankees seriously. They are in this series for a reason. I think it was a combo of the Indians peaking too soon and expecting to beat the Yankees, that led to their demise. That should be the narrative by Hinch to this team, realize they belong here and so do we, and take it one step at a time! LETS GO!!!!

Why do people make things up? The Yankees had a pedestrian .201 Batting Average and a .289 OBP in the ALDS. That would be by far, the worst offense in the regular season. They are extremely cold.

The Stros on the other hand....

    .332 BA with a .402 OBP.

Don't feed the misinformation. The Indians slumped hard in that series against decent starting pitching.

For instance, Boston who the Astros clearly looked superior to in that series hit for

    .285 BA with a .340 OBP.

Small sample sizes sure, but nobody in the Yankee order minus Aaron Hicks hit over 300....

    Secret Weapon

There are a good number of well-known Astros, including Correa, Jose Altuveand George Springer, but one of the secret weapons on offense is Yuli Gurriel, who led the majors with a 25 percent hard-hit rate.

I got laughed at for saying Yuli was the second best hitter on the team this year, but he is the second best pure hitter on this squad.

He squares up balls consistently, and had some bad luck this year in regards to balls finding fielders.

Yeah, scorching...... Here's what they slashed without Judge in the ALDS (WARNING: have oven mitts handy): ..221/.248/.389/.637.

"Hot" would be the Astros: .333/.402/.571/.974.

We will pay him. We will lose any astros player before we lose correa. I guarantee luhnow wants to pay him at the expense of other players no doubt.

We will def lose some players though.

**** 'em. I'm over the, "Woe is me; I'm from Houston and we always lose" bullshit. This is a tremendous team with an incredible opportunity and I'm going to embrace it and the bullying that comes with it. WE ARE KING KONG, b****ES! Let that spill all over you.....

Sure, anything can happen - but the Astros are a better team than the Yankees and there's zero reason to try and cushion the blow. Yankee bats are hot........ that's absurd. THE ASTROS BATS ARE HOT!
