Lol, Biden isn’t going nowhere near this or it blows up in his face. So many bad players, it is the swamp after all.
Exactly. He’s doing this on purpose to desensitize bad information they know is about to come out. They did they previously and it worked somewhat. My hope is that the house now hires a special committee instead of handling the hearings and upcoming court battles to take impeachment out of Nadlers hands and put professionals in charge of investigating and producing the best case possible for articles of impeachment. They need to stop dicking around and get on with it. The guy thinks he’s king now and he’s going to continue to get away with it if they don’t change course quick.
It doesn't make sense that it's actually Trump because the president himself is immune to this sort of thing. So who in that apparatus recently got sacked for something that seemed business as usual?
[Premium Post] Despite coming up empty after two years of openly lying about Russian collusion, now is the time we should believe the liberals about Trump's foreign government scandals! Forget about the fact that the Obama Administration used Australian and British intelligence services to spy on and investigate Trump. My goodness the liberals have zero self-awareness. They think sane people actually take their moral lectures seriously! GOOD DAY
My level of confidence that anything would happen ... even if this story of military aids for political dirt is true is close to 0%. The GOP Congress is too far along the loyal train to turn around now. Smart people will find possible avenue to justify their position. A new low will be the new norm.
trump trying to defend his impeachment-worthy bribe to a foreign government to hurt his political opponent as "perfectly fine and respectful".
@Trader_Jorge take a step back from the persona and try to see this from a non partisan vantage. Presidents have a lot of power to disclose what they want and when they want under Article II. We also have a protocol so people can internally whistleblow perceived issues so we do not have Chelsea Manning going to the media. The process was squashed by Barr and the White House. And the leading theory is that Trump was using already approved military aid as a bargaining tool to get dirt on his political opponents. It’s the transaction more so than the dirt in my opinion that is terrible. This is ethically wrong and worthy of removing Trump from office with the caveat if true.
if what has been reported is true, in addition to obstruction of justice, it is also a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act
If you haven't already noticed, we don't have any leash on the presidency at all. Even if Congress hears the complaint, they won't do anything about it. The election is literally the only check on corruption that's left.
Hahaha! (Deep breath.) Hahahahaha! Otherwise, great post on content and agree w your sensible points.
