The real question is can I get a 10 million dollar contract. Since they are being passed around like hotcakes.
Is he the guard for Miami? He has been really good from what I remember, one of the young bright spots for the Heat last year.
Remember when Darren Collison backed up for CP3 when he was injured and pretty much looked like an all star? Its easy for these players to blow up when they are unknown, its because they aren't scouted yet and the opponent coaches try to let them decide the game instead of other, better players on the team (ie you'd guard Wade really hard so he would pass it to this dude). This is especially true for contract year players because they are desperate to sign a new deal with someone else and so would work extremely hard. You'll find out if a player is worth it when he signs that new deal and becomes the focus of opponent's defense, but by then it'd be too late.
Yeah. Really good might be a stretch but very very solid. I'd gladly take him at $10 million, at 23/24 years old over Brewer at $8 million.
Collision has been as consistent a player as you'll see. Puts up basically the same stats every year. Injury has been his issue more than anything.
I think he had a run where he has shooting > 50% from 3P, but he cooled down and then got injured. Maybe in Utah or Philly he gets paid $10 mil but don't see it. If this happens then Woj is a GOD!
% of cap, guys: $10m/yr = 10/90 = 9% That same 9% used to be equal to $6m/yr (67m*9%), right around a non-taxpayer MLE Also, $1b in cap space around the league is nothing to sneeze at
But he hasn't really done anything yet. Played 30+ games each of his two seasons. If you pay a guy like Johnson $10 mil then what do you pay a guy like Deng?
