I can sum up the Jet's analysis in 3 words. Ready?

    "STYLE OF PLAY".

Seriously? That's the main reason? Maybe. I think it has more to do with Dwight not liking the culture of the team and his role.

He talked about being happy, about wanting to be a post-player, and wanting to be respected. He gets that in Houston. And he honestly is on a much better team in Houston then he was in L.A. I think he realizes he wasn't going to be competing for rings in L.A. anytime soon with an aging Kobe, but with Harden/Parsons/Lin/Asik - there was something there as well. He ended up signing with the team that had the most talent and most poised to make noise, and that had Hakeem and McHale, and could pay him. That's it. Simple decision.

Kenny is an EMMY AWARD winning analyst, I trust his takes.

I'm sure they could compete in LA, I just think Dwight didn't like Kobe and Dantoni.

Senior citizens dance better in Houston.

Yes, because the EMMY's really know basketball so well.

L.A. - aging Nash a shell of his former self, Kobe coming back from a crippling injury, Gasol aging, Artest done, and not much else. Yeah - that's a team that's going to be competitive alright - for the 8th seed.

The Lakers say they want to run, but they are entirely too old. Kobe and Ron DO NOT RUN THE FLOOR anymore. (Harden and Parsons on the other hand...)

He's not an award winning sports analyst.

You want a list? Sure, here it is.

2012 Charles Barkley (TNT) (Studio); Cris Collinsworth (NBC) (Sports Event)
2011 Charles Barkley (TNT) (Studio); Cris Collinsworth (NBC) (Sports Event)
2010 Kirk Herbstreit (ESPN) (Studio); Cris Collinsworth (NBC) (Sports Event)
2009 Kirk Herbstreit (ESPN) (Studio); Cris Collinsworth (NBC) (Sports Event)
2008 Fox's Terry Bradshaw and ESPN's Tom Jackson tied for the Studio award; Cris Collinsworth (NFL Network/NBC) (Sports Event)
2007 Cris Collinsworth (HBO/NBC) (Studio); John Madden (NBC) (Sports Event)
2006 Cris Collinsworth won both awards — the Studio award for his work on HBO and NBC, and the Sports Event award for his work on Run to the Playoffs on NFL Network
2005 Cris Collinsworth (HBO) (Studio); John Madden (ABC) (Sports Event)
2004 Cris Collinsworth (HBO) (Studio); Joe Morgan (ESPN) (Sports Event)
2003 Cris Collinsworth (HBO) (Studio); John Madden (ABC) (Sports Event)
2002 Cris Collinsworth (HBO) (Studio); Tim McCarver (Fox) (Sports Event)
2001 Terry Bradshaw (Fox) (Studio); Tim McCarver (Fox) (Sports Event)
2000 Steve Lyons (Fox) (Studio); Tim McCarver (Fox) (Sports Event)
1999 Terry Bradshaw (Fox) (Studio); John Madden (Fox) (Sports Event)
1998 Cris Collinsworth (HBO/Fox) (Studio); John Madden (Fox) (Sports Event)
1997 Cris Collinsworth (HBO/NBC) (Studio); Joe Morgan (ESPN) (Sports Event)
    1996 Howie Long (Fox) (Studio)
    1995 John Madden (Fox) (Studio)
    1994 John Madden (Fox) (Studio)
    1993 Billy Packer (CBS) (Studio)

I don't see Kenny Smith on there.

I see Tim freaking McCarver on the damn list.

    Don't see Kenny.

Inside the NBA won Outstanding Studio Show, but that's usually due to production value, and directors, and the studio host, Ernie Johnson.

EJ has won a Sports emmy before.

    The end.

    go home, drunk.

Kenny's people need to fix that **** then. I should email the website to do some fact checking. That's like saying Chris Jent won 94 MVP, despite being behind everyone in the trophy presentation.
