In that case he is getting paid over million if not two or three million over there. Oh cry me a river, I am only making a million a year instead of 10 million.
I mean he explicitly said it's more about his legacy at this point. No reason not to believe him. --- Side note: There should be a longform article about NBA players lives changed because of China and the CBA: Marbury, Beasley, etc.
He also said that he was the 4th best wing free agent this year, behind Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James. I'd say there is a small reason not to believe him. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Feel like only 3 dwade kd Lebron where better wing free agents then myself That's my opinion that's how I feel</p>— von wafer (@vonwafer13) <a href="https://twitter.com/vonwafer13/status/756653193703010304">July 23, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Based Von, so mature and level headed now It was ONLY just last year in China that Wafer was THROWING CHAIRS into the stands and cheap-shot kneeing his opponents, but he's WAY PAST ALL of that now!
He was a fan favorite while he was in Houston. Good scorer. I think he blew it when he was in Boston. I haven't seen him play in a while but I would imagine he could still play in the NBA with his athleticism. I don't know how begging on twitter is going to get him a camp invite, but I wish him the best.
Well, he says it's not about money, so he's not broke. He should do what Beasley did and prove himself overseas, and NBA teams will naturally pay attention. But the tweet above... LOL. He's got a bit more maturing to do.
I was like how do you graduate from College and don't know the difference between 'were' and 'where', 'then' and 'than'? Then I wikipedia'd him and now I understand From wikipedia:
It was inexcusable behavior at a critical point of the season. I sure as hell don't want him back. Having said that, I wish him luck in the future, as long as that future isn't with the Rockets.
