Has anyone latched onto INCORPORATED? It's 89% Gattica and 11% of every other near future dystopian movie you've seen. I like it. I don't get the MMA storyline though.
After watching 2 episodes, I thought it was going to be more supernatural. Hardy is really good in it, but what am I watching? Is it called Taboo because he went to Africa and has an affinity for his half sister?
It is totally dragging ass though I'm so ready for them to move it along The Wife's subplot is interesting The MMA stuff is meh The Main story plot is ok . . . but still not getting it. The more the wife's story gets better the bigger a douche the main character seems to be. Rocket River
That is kind of where I am I was expecting more occult and witch craft type stuff Now it is looking more like Black Sails without the sex and interesting locales Rocket River
INCORPORATED gives us a little look into the world the characters are living in every episode. It distracts you from the slow moving plot. I don't mind it because we are getting so much information about the setting. It's interesting to me. Spoiler: The more the wife's story gets better the bigger a douche the main character seems to be This last episode, when he manually extracted his memories to avoid detection, it showed us that he really loved his wife. Just seems like he has one focus and that is to get his childhood love back; right his wrongs. He is definitely a douche for using her. I don't think he thought he was going to fall in love. From the previews of the season finale, it looks like getting the girl back isn't going to end well. Maybe she has been irreparably changed.
Watching THE BLACKLIST How the hell can Liz still go undercover after being all over the news as a traitor? Rocket River
THE GOOD PLACE just finished season 1 and I thought it was surprisingly successful concept. I liked it a lot.
Incorporated is going way too slow.... which is too bad, like the show and premise generally, just geez its dragging...
Binged Voltron Season 2 - Still pretty good. A bit heavy on the Campiness Binging Man In The High Castle - it is rough making it through - I think 2~4 episodes at a time then I have to eject. Rocket river
I have to admit to being intrigued by the new CBS show to premiere tonight after the Patriots/Steelers game called "Hunted". If you haven't seen the ads, its a competition series, which centers on nine teams of two as they are fugitives on the run from highly skilled investigators. Each pair uses their wits to evade capture for 28 days in a 100,000 square mile region in the southeastern United States in order to win the grand prize of $250,000.
I really enjoy competition realty TV. It's much less scripted when there is something to gain. The previews look very scripted though.
I finished the first season. It was ok but still less than satisfying. Glad it did get better toward the end. The second season was set up nicely. Night Ops
I enjoyed it. It seems more people are in line with your thinking though, the ratings weren't good. The show looks expensive I don't know if it gets a season 2.
